When is the Presidential Primary election?

The primary election will take place on April 28, 2020.

When is early voting?

Early voting will be held Thursday, April 16, 2020 until Thursday, April 23, 2020 from 10 am until 8 pm. Any registered voter is eligible to vote early, and non-registered voters can also now register and vote. Voters may go to any early voting site in the county, but the three closest to most District 16 residents are the Lawton Community Recreation Center, the Rockville Executive Office Building, and the Potomac Community Recreation Center. How can I request an absentee ballot?

In Maryland, any registered voter may request an absentee ballot without providing a reason. The deadline to request an absentee ballot for the Presidential Primary election is April 21, 2020 if you want to receive your ballot by mail or fax, and April 24, 2020 if you want to download the ballot from the state's website.
